Answer: Ultrasonographic findings: Liver enlarged with many hyperechoic nodules Moderate amount of free anechoic peritoneal fluid Kidneys bilaterally enlarged, hypoechoic subcapsular infiltration Mesenteric lymph nodes moderately enlarged and hypoechoic. Ultrasound diagnosis: 1. Liver, kidney, and peritoneal infiltrative disease. Differentials include FIP and lymphoma. PCR of the abdominal effusion was submitted, and tested positive for FIP. |
