Signalment:
7 year old male intact German Shorthair Pointer

Anorexia, vomiting, coughing 4 days duration.

Questions:

  1. What are your thoracic ultrasonographic findings?
  2. What are your differentials?
 

Ultrasound Findings:

  1. Right cranial lobe is non aerated.
  2. Multiple hypoechoic nodules on the surface of the lung

Ultrasonographic Diagnosis:

  1. Pulmonary nodules
  2. Right cranial lobar consolidation.
  3. Differentials included neoplastic or fungal disease.
  4. The dog was confirmed to have blastomycosis.
