Ultrasonographic Diagnosis:
In the stomach, fluid distended with hyperechoic shadowing foreign body. In two different segments of small intestine, plicate bowel loops are detected with hyperechoic linear foreign bodies inside, one measured 2.7cm.
Gastric foreign body with fluid distended stomach. Linear foreign bodies in two population of small intestine.
Recommendation: surgery
Result of this patient: A tampon and fibrous material covered in digesta were found in the stomach and jejunum during the surgery.
