The beautiful Spruce Point Inn will be hosting our conference this year.

IVUSS has arranged for 35 discounted rooms in the Lodge for our conference. These will be held for us until July 27, 2022. Once registered, you will receive an email with instructions on how to get the discounted rooms. These rooms are priced at $269 per night (plus 5.5% state tax and 9% room tax). The usual 10% Resort/Amenity Fee* will not apply to these rooms during the conference.

Other rooms options are available but are not discounted. These rooms may be reserved online at the lowest rate available at the time of booking, and the 10% Resort/Amenity Fee* will apply.  

We have arranged for conference attendees to be able to stay up to 3 days before and 3 days after the conference in the lodge at the $269 rate.  The 10% Resort/Amenity Fee* and tax applies to these extra days. All other room types will be at the best available rate plus the resort fee and tax.

Room Deposit:  A deposit equal to 50% of the total stay is required to hold each reservation. This deposit is refundable if notice of cancellation is received at least fourteen (14) days prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained. All deposits shall be charged at the time the reservation is made. No refunds for late arrivals, early departures or downgrades.  Any reservation canceled within 48 hours of arrival will be charged the first night's room and tax. Rates cannot be changed at check-in or check-out for guests who do not identify their affiliation with the group at the time the reservation is made.

As is typical in the US, breakfast is not included with any of the Spruce Point Inn rooms. But there is a restaurant at the Inn that serves breakfast daily.

Other hotels recommended to us, but are not affiliated with the conference: Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Golf Resort and the Harbor Towne Inn.

* The Resort/Amenity Fee includes Wifi, In-room coffee and tea, hotel/resort/conference center shuttle service, use of fitness center, bottled water in-room, and complimentary parking.

Getting There

Portland, Maine and Boston, Massachusetts are the nearest large airports.  Portland is about 1.5 hours drive to Boothbay Harbor, and Boston is just under 3 hours away.  Please be aware that Portland car rental costs may be significantly different from rentals in Boston.
